Wedgewood Stove, Late 1800's
This late 1800's Wedgewood Stove was owned by the Ellenwood family of early Fruitvale. When they first built this house, the Peraltas probably cooked in an outdoor kitchen. Later, they may have installed an indoor wood-burning stove like this one, which were common in Fruitvale at the time.
