Oakland Khmer New Year Festival .
Soursdey chhnam tmey! Happy New Year!
Each spring, Oakland comes alive with the colors, sounds, and spirit of Cambodia. Join us for the Khmer New Year Festival, an intergenerational celebration honoring Khmer traditions, resilience, and community pride. For one vibrant day, the park transforms into a cultural village filled with music, dance, ceremony, food, art, and joy, welcoming friends and neighbors from across Oakland and the East Bay. Whether you are reconnecting with your heritage or experiencing Khmer New Year for the first time, this is a joyful, welcoming space for all.
